Account Manager Business Solutions

Munich Re Specialty Group North America (MRSG N.A.) is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager Business Solutions to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the service team in preparing and maintaining client files within our Agency Management System.
  • Respond to client and internal correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a follow-up system to ensure requests are processed efficiently.
  • Handle underwriter requests for underwriting information on renewals and follow up to completion.
  • Communicate regularly with management and sales staff to advise them of relevant account information.
  • Identify new business opportunities and refer to management and sales staff.
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with customers, carriers, and peers.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of commercial insurance experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Resident insurance license in home domicile state.
  • P&C coverage knowledge required, marine experience a plus.
  • Excellent time management, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • Well-organized with an aptitude for details.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions and problem solve.
  • Able to work independently while taking ownership of a task through completion.
  • Self-disciplined, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance terms, practices, and policies.
