Position Overview

The Accounting Contractor will be responsible for executing various accounting functions across multiple domestic operations of Vaco. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to manage financial processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Accounting: Execute all essential accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reviews of financial statements.
  • Banking Management: Oversee daily banking operations and manage the banking portal for the organization.
  • Pay Card Program: Administer the company-wide pay card initiative.
  • Training: Educate subsidiary teams on the banking portal and Vaco's accounting policies.
  • Support Subsidiaries: Provide assistance to both domestic and international subsidiaries as required.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to accounting processes within the organization.
  • Acquisition Integration: Assist in the integration of new acquisitions into Vaco's accounting systems and procedures.
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare necessary documentation for external auditors during the annual audit.
  • Collaboration: Work with the FP&A team to address inquiries and perform analyses as needed.
  • Standards Implementation: Aid in the adoption of new accounting standards as necessary.
  • Special Projects: Engage in various activities and projects as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience with JDE is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and the ability to analyze complex accounting issues.
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate and timely results.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
