Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist to join their team in Templeton, California.

Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear imaging procedures for patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. You will work closely with physicians to administer radioactive materials and position patients for optimal imaging results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients as ordered by physicians
  • Position patients for nuclear imaging procedures
  • Adjust imaging equipment to ensure optimal results
  • Determine proper dosage and exposure time for each image
  • Follow ALARA guidelines to minimize radiation exposure
Requirements
  • Must have met minimum requirements for licensure by DHS
  • Understands radiology information systems utilization and operation
  • Computer literacy
  • DHS Certified Technologist
  • Nuclear Medicine license to include Veni-puncture
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
Organizational Requirements
