Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Contractor to join our team at Vaco. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general accounting processes, managing the daily banking relationship, and administering the banking portal for the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all general accounting processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet and income statement reviews.
  • Manage the daily banking relationship and administer the banking portal for the entire organization.
  • Manage the company-wide pay card program.
  • Train subsidiary teams on banking portal and Belcan corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist foreign and domestic subsidiaries with requests as needed.
  • Proactively identify process improvements and facilitate such changes within the organization.
  • Assist in acquisition integration into Belcan processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Prepare and provide external auditors with requested items during the annual audit process.
  • Assist the FP&A team with inquiries and analyses upon request.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Experience with JDE preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP required, combined with the ability to research and propose company positions on complex accounting issues.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to execute and follow-through to produce complete, accurate, and timely deliverables.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required.
