Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and updating medical records.
- Assist with clinical procedures, such as phlebotomy, injections, and sterilizing medical instruments.
- Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with patients, families, and staff.
- Stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing patient care and ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a podiatry office.
- Current X-ray license or limited x-ray for podiatry preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
