Join our dedicated team at Piedmont Airlines, where we are passionate about delivering exceptional service in the aviation industry. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to fill the role of Customer Service Agent within our Ground Handling Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist passengers during the boarding and disembarking processes.
  • Oversee computerized passenger boarding systems.
  • Provide support for customers with special requirements, including arranging assistance for unaccompanied minors and those needing wheelchairs.
  • Modify customer flight itineraries and seating arrangements as necessary.
  • Operate the Jetway efficiently.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo.
  • Utilize motorized service vehicles and equipment as required.
  • Guide and park aircraft safely.
  • Conduct cabin maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure outstanding customer service and achieve corporate goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of the Customer Service Agent training program.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment while meeting company objectives and customer expectations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in the airline industry.
  • Background in front-line customer service roles.
  • Basic familiarity with computer applications and software.

Work Environment:

  • Utilization of computers, telephones, and various office equipment.
  • Exposure to an airport ramp environment, which may include diverse weather conditions and elevated noise levels.
  • Availability for all shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent activities such as bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, and climbing stairs.
  • Regularly handle objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Assist passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs.

Employment is contingent upon a valid driver's license, a clear driving record, and the completion of a criminal history check and drug screening. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum age of 18 years.

Compensation:

$12.00 per hour
