Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant to join our team at FPG Sandusky Healthcare Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient care and provide information to patients to ensure they fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
  • Perform a variety of clinical duties, including monitoring patient flow, obtaining and documenting patient vitals, and performing technical laboratory functions such as phlebotomy, EKG, and stress testing.
  • Provide administrative support, including greeting patients, vendors, and other visitors, operating the switchboard or telephone console, and maintaining accurate records for timely billing of accounts.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing with current licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Medical Assistant certification required.
  • Experience in a medical office or urgent care setting preferred.
  • Ability to perform as a Medical Scribe from time-to-time.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers with strong typing skills.
