We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at FPG Neurosurgery. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient care and provide information to patients to ensure they fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
- Perform a variety of clinical duties, including monitoring patient flow, obtaining and documenting patient vitals, and performing technical laboratory functions.
- Provide administrative support, including greeting patients, operating the switchboard, and maintaining accurate records for timely billing.
- Assist in covering other practice sites as needed.
- High school graduate with Medical Assistant certification required.
- Experience in a medical office or urgent care setting preferred.
- Ability to perform as a Medical Scribe from time-to-time.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers with strong typing skills.
- Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, co-workers, and the public.
