Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and engineering, with experience in managing a team and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties.
  • Budgeting and Compliance: Assist in the budgeting process and ensure compliance with departmental budget initiatives.
  • Project Management: Oversee maintenance and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Inspect projects after completion to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; trade license preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in maintenance and engineering, with a strong background in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of generators, fire pumps, and electrical switchgears, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
