Role Overview


The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is tasked with providing care to patients in an outpatient setting by assisting in gathering subjective and objective data, identifying issues or abnormal conditions specific to the patient, and conducting psychosocial assessments through active listening, verbal, and non-verbal communication.

The LVN will play a key role in formulating the patient care plan and will execute, under the supervision of a physician, AHP, or RN, only those components of the care plan that fall within the LVN's scope of practice.

Requirements: Candidates must be available for up to 2 days per week, be willing to float to various locations as needed, and possess reliable transportation.

*Placement in the pay range is influenced by various factors, including relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be opportunities for additional compensation for this role, such as shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonuses.   • Previous nursing experience in an outpatient care environment is preferred.
Education

  • Current California LVN License with IV Certification is required.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
