Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct quality management reviews and audits of patient records.
  2. Prepare comprehensive reports to facilitate decision-making.
  3. Assist in regulatory preparation and compliance activities.
  4. Support the Department Director with administrative functions.

Qualifications:

  1. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or equivalent healthcare experience.
  2. A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute care environment.
  3. At least two years of experience in TJC/regulatory compliance and quality management.

Skills:

  1. Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and Access, with the ability to create detailed reports and graphs.
  2. Basic understanding of statistical analysis is preferred.
  3. Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Physical: Ability to walk (up to 20%), stand (up to 10%), kneel (up to 5%), sit (up to 40%), push (up to 5%), bend (up to 5%), squat (up to 5%), pull (up to 5%), reach (up to 5%), and lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent wrist and finger movements are required.

Mental: The role involves a moderate to high stress level.

Exposure Risk: Category III - This position involves minimal exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, similar to that of a visitor.
