Position Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is accountable for providing care to patients in the outpatient setting by assisting in the gathering of subjective and objective data, identifying issues or abnormal conditions specific to the patient, and conducting a psychosocial assessment through active listening, verbal communication, and non-verbal cues.
The LVN will play a role in the formulation of the patient care plan and will execute, under the guidance of a physician, AHP, or RN, only those components of the care plan that fall within the LVN's scope of practice.
Candidates must be available up to 2 days per week, float to other locations where needed, and possess reliable transportation.*Placement in the pay range is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements
Experience
- Prior nursing experience in an outpatient care environment preferred.
- Current California LVN License with IV Certification required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required
