Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure that assigned job expectations are completed.
- Training and Development: Provide training and create work schedules to ensure that associates are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure that the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Employee Relations: Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off and may act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
