Business Development Manager

At Spectrum, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. As a Business Account Executive, you'll play a critical role in achieving this goal by selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospect for new customers and develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within your assigned territory.
- Generate sales leads through various prospecting tactics and work every lead from initial contact to sale.
- Develop and maintain a complete understanding of Spectrum Business coax services, rates, and applicable taxes.
- Practice selling skills with other Account Executives and stay up-to-date with new sales techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model.
- Business-to-business sales experience.
- Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets.
Office environment and/or outside environment with exposure to inclement weather. Moderate noise levels.
