Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the NextGen Pastor and team at Prestonwood Baptist Church. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, maintain calendars, and coordinate events to ensure seamless operation of the NextGen ministry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the NextGen Pastor and team, including managing communication correspondence and executing general office tasks.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain meticulous calendars for the NextGen Pastor and overall ministry, scheduling appointments and coordinating engagements.
  • Event Coordination: Prepare and organize essential materials ahead of NextGen Pastor's engagements and assist in the management and operational tasks of campus events and facility usage requests.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate coordination between North and Plano Campus NextGen offices, serving as a central point of contact for streamlined communication and collaboration.
  • Request and Inquiry Management: Manage requests and inquiries from ministry leadership, teachers, members, guests, and other ministries, including pastoral care.
  • Financial Transactions: Execute financial transactions specific to NextGen, such as purchase orders, check requests, gift cards, and credit cards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and databases for NextGen ministries.
  • Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct weekly assessments of PBC NC ministries readiness for Sunday services and monitor Prestonwood Christian Academy - NC shared spaces.
Requirements
  • Relationship with Jesus Christ: Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a member of PBC - NC.
  • Education: Some college, college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in an administrative support role.
  • Skills: Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, excellent planning and organizational skills, team player, excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and a high level of confidentiality.
