Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Grand Peaks Property. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our properties, maintaining a safe environment, and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Be knowledgeable of the physical condition of our properties and correct unsafe conditions. Complete make-readies in a timely manner and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Service Request Management: Maintain a system for timely and efficient handling of resident service requests. Diagnose and perform maintenance/repair, including tasks outlined in the attached make-ready checklist.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of parts and supplies. Ensure 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accessible, accurate records pertaining to service requests, preventative maintenance, safety systems, repair/replacement of major equipment, utility cutoffs, and sewer clean-outs.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and return signed reports to management within four days.
  • Team Support: Assist other employees in any apartment management functions. Maintain and be aware of community budget.
  • Compliance and Safety: Comply with all state/local laws and follow the company's policies and procedures. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including compliance with OSHA/Fair Housing requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
