As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our properties, maintaining a safe environment, and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including make-readies, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure timely and efficient handling of resident service requests.
  • Manage inventory of parts and supplies, and ensure 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service requests, preventative maintenance, and repair/replacement of major equipment.
  • Conduct move-out inspections and return signed reports to management within four days.
  • Assist other employees in any apartment management functions as needed.
  • Comply with all state/local laws and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including OSHA/Fair Housing requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment.
