Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in King of Prussia, PA. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for initiating payments to vendors, posting customer receipts, and maintaining accounting control procedures. You will also support the Finance team in compiling an accurate general ledger.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute month-end close work of bank reconciliations across numerous entities
  • Work with accounts payable to disburse funds and post payments to general ledger
  • Report and record customer cash receipts with completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain cash flash reports and communication with global banking partner JPMorgan and others
  • Ad hoc reporting and miscellaneous accounting assignments
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and auditing skills, with the ability to research and reconcile difficult accounts
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Proactive and independent
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Detail oriented and organized in work
  • Accounting Degree preferred
  • Basic knowledge of all accounting functions and related internal controls
  • Microsoft Excel experience a must
  • 0-2 years in a corporate setting
  • Mobility - 2-3% of travel time required
