About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Laurels of Bon Air. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our valued guests.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides nursing care services and health education to nursing home guests. This includes supervising the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs), administering medications safely and accurately, assessing guest health status, and contributing to the development of personalized care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate care provided by CNAs/STNAs and other team members
  • Administer medications safely and accurately
  • Assess guest health status and notify physicians of changes
  • Select and implement nursing interventions to stabilize guest conditions
  • Contribute to the development of personalized care plans
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in long-term care setting preferred
  • Current LPN licensure in state
  • CPR certification

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
