About The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa
The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa, a luxury hotel in Downtown Denver, is seeking a skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently, using a positive and clear speaking voice.
- Complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from our computer system.
- Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash and make change, and balance the house bank.
- Answer phone calls promptly and communicate effectively with guests.
- Close guest accounts at check-out and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Field guest complaints and negotiate solutions.
- Remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, and a college degree preferred.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and continuously perform essential job functions.
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
