About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Financial Service Associate to join our team at Five County Credit Union. Key Responsibilities
  1. Member Service and Support: Provide personalized service to members, answering their questions, and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Transaction Processing: Accurately process transactions, including account openings, loan applications, and other financial services, ensuring compliance with credit union policies and regulations.
  3. Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to offer members additional products and services, promoting their financial well-being and contributing to the credit union's growth.
  4. Account Maintenance: Assist members with account-related inquiries, changes, and issues, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain knowledge of and adhere to credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe and secure environment for members and employees.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with members, colleagues, and management, building strong relationships and providing exceptional service.
  • Basic Math and Computer Skills: Proficiency in using financial software and systems, as well as basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
  • Reliability and Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive Attitude and Professionalism: Demonstrate a positive, friendly, and professional attitude, representing the credit union in a positive light to members and the community.
