Job Summary

As a Human Resources Assistant with Compass Group Careers, you will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters. This role involves assisting with payroll processing, conducting benefits enrollment for new employees, and verifying I-9 documentation. You will also conduct audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs, and recommend corrective action as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Conduct benefits enrollment for new employees and verify I-9 documentation.
  • Assist with payroll processing and conduct audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs.
  • Recommend corrective action as needed and update HR spreadsheets with employee change requests.
  • Process terminations and assist with the preparation of performance review forms.
  • Assist with recruitment and interview processes, and schedule meetings and interviews as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including filing papers and documents, preparing correspondence, and processing mail.
