Purpose and Scope

As a Senior IT Project Manager at Fresenius Medical Center, you will provide project management leadership and direction for assigned projects, ensuring timely completion within approved parameters. Your expertise will be instrumental in monitoring project activities, escalating timeline status, risk assessment, and budget variance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex project plans, assigning work to supporting teams as necessary.
  • Manage issue tracking and resolution for projects, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
  • Establish and maintain best practices around project management techniques, collaborating with teams to develop and communicate new processes and standards.
  • Establish communication plans for projects, ensuring adherence to those plans and maintaining effective communication with project constituents and stakeholders.
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation process for IT projects, proactively resolving issues and mitigating risk at a strategic and tactical level.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years' related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years' experience, or a PhD without experience.
  • Proven knowledge of Project Management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proven organizational and planning skills, with experience in operational IT environments.
  • PMO knowledge and experience, with ability to work within established timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities, team management skills, and interpersonal skills, with ability to deal with staff at all levels.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with ability to resolve conflicting situations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills, with strong business and financial management skills.
