Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project profitability, timelines, and requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review job cost, job status, manpower, and change order reports to provide monthly analysis and insights.
  • Develop and manage project schedules to ensure actual construction aligns with planned timelines.
  • Communicate and troubleshoot project specifics with project foremen, construction managers, and owners.
  • Manage and coordinate proper manpower and equipment for each job.
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors for various trades, ensuring clear definitions of work responsibility.
  • Oversee the buyout process, job-closeouts, and project change orders for all projects.
  • Conduct regular job-site visits and meetings to ensure project progress and address any issues.
  • Ensure proper job setup, contract review, estimated costs, and schedule of values are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Track submittals, generate purchase orders, and negotiate subcontracts and purchases for each project.
  • Develop relationships with customers to promote DAVIS AND PLOMIN MECHANICAL INC in a professional manner.
Requirements and Experience

The successful candidate must have a minimum of ten years of managing commercial plumbing/mechanical project management experience, a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent. Journeyman Plumber license or HVAC license is preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Capable of climbing off/on equipment and ladders.
  • Able to walk job sites.
