Project and Alliance Manager/Sr. Manager

Orum Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced project and alliance manager to join our research and development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and managing project execution from target discovery to preclinical development, as well as collaborating with R&D, legal, and business development to operationalize external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the project team leader to drive the drug development process from discovery to preclinical development.
  • Map the project strategy, build and maintain the related integrated timeline, and identify project interdependencies, Go/NoGo decision points/criteria, and critical path.
  • Manage the implementation of project strategy, facilitate cross-functional communication, alignment, collaboration, and decision making, and identify risks and devise mitigation plans.
  • Liaise with business development, R&D, legal, and cross-functional teams to operationalize external partnership agreements, track contractual obligations, and ensure that partnership activities are within scope of the agreement.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for communications with partners, facilitate communication and activities between internal teams and external partners, and coordinate and facilitate joint team, functional, and governance meetings.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS with 4+ years research bench work experience using molecular biology tools/techniques or PhD in biological sciences.
  • 5+ years direct project and/or alliance management experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative mindset with ability to work with many different personality types.
  • Self-driven with a can-do attitude, proven problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to handle ambiguity and solve problems.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
