As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Maintain a safe and efficient imaging environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent
- Experience working in a diagnostic imaging environment, preferably in a travel or per-diem capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
