Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring cell performance and productivity, directing scheduling and sequencing of work, and driving production innovation to optimize production.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple cells in testing printed circuit board assemblies and top-level modules, including machine operation and coordination of production plans, master production schedules, inventory levels, and assembly schedules.
- Lead a team to ensure all quality, cost, schedule, and safety-related items are complete and documented.
- Direct cost goals and process improvement reductions to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
- Communicate information and issues across three shifts, including production operations and support.
- Set the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to optimize productivity.
- Lead materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
- Direct production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities.
- Liaise with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that customers receive satisfactory standards of services.
- Responsible for the overall leadership, education, training, and guidance of personnel.
- Review, establish, and prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, efficiency, materials supply, and personnel resources.
- Coordinate production activities with other functions, such as materials, maintenance, marketing, new product development, customer service, manufacturing engineering, quality inspection.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
