Respiratory Care Specialist

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner Part-Time, you will play a vital role in delivering respiratory care services to patients in neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patient needs and provide respiratory care services in accordance with established protocols and clinical judgment.
- Apply knowledge of cardio-respiratory anatomy and physiology to respiratory care practices.
- Utilize data and laboratory findings to optimize care delivery.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of respiratory active drugs and their interactions.
- Perform and document diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in accordance with departmental standards.
- Match equipment needs with associated diagnostic/therapeutic intervention.
- Demonstrate patient-centered behaviors and provide timely reports to receiving therapists.
- Serve as a resource for students, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program from an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) program.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care preferred.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license from the Texas Medical Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc. (NBRC).
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card.
