We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Parkland Health and Hospital System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient needs and provide appropriate respiratory care services, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of respiratory active drugs, including indications, actions, interactions, and adverse reactions.
- Perform and document diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring quality and service indicators are met.
- Troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure proper function.
- Provide timely reports and communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program from an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) program.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc. (NBRC).
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license from either the Texas Department of State Health Services OR Texas Medical Board.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card.
