Responsibilities- Evaluate patient needs and provide appropriate respiratory care services, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Assess patient status and prioritize care accordingly, utilizing established protocols and clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in respiratory care, incorporating new knowledge into practice.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to a culture of excellence within the department.
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program from an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) program.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc. (NBRC).
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license from either the Texas Department of State Health Services OR Texas Medical Board.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card.
- Prefer certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc. (NBRC).
