Job Summary:

At Home Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Pediatric Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our pediatric patients and their families to provide exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans set by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to address speech and language disorders, swallowing disorders, and other related issues.
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to clients in their homes, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to review and update treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and services.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited speech and audiology program.
  • Current license as a Speech-Language Assistant, including observation and supervision records.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English accurately.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License and proof of current liability insurance.
  • Annual TB screening and current certificate of basic life support (CPR).
  • Computer software skills to produce accurate documents and materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds continuously.
