Position: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to enhance our dynamic team, providing assessment and implementation of speech therapy services for young clients.

Available Positions: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities

Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program - new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Valid Texas SLPA license by the anticipated start date
  • Experience with pediatric populations and bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing challenges
  • Create tailored treatment strategies for pediatric clients facing communication difficulties
  • Recognize speech impairments and formulate a care plan to enhance patient functionality
  • Execute programs aimed at fostering communication skill development
