**Job Summary**

Therapy 2000, a leading provider of pediatric healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Central Northeast Houston. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with patients' medical neighborhoods to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between providers and disciplines.
  • Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork as required by the agency.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

**Requirements:**

  • A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability and flexibility.
  • Ability to use common workplace technology, including laptops, email, and web browsers.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a home-health setting.
  • Certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).
