Job Description

Precision Resource, a leading global supplier of precision metal components and assemblies, is seeking a CMM Programmer/Quality Engineer to join its Connecticut division in Shelton. This role has direct impact on delivering cutting-edge technology to our global customer base.

The successful candidate will ensure the correct use of advanced quality planning and engineering to enhance quality, reliability, and acceptance of systems, processes, and products. They will provide professional-level quality customer service to both internal and external customers/suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor product quality and reliability systems performance
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation for quality, reliability, and process
  • Develop CMM programs to support part quality verification
  • Measure tool components and document for future reference
  • Implement detection systems to eliminate problems affecting quality and reliability
  • Prepare and present reports (PPM, Cost of Quality, NCR, Process Routing, etc)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a Quality Department in a manufacturing environment or CQE diploma/equivalent
  • PC-DMIS CMM programming experience required
  • Familiarity with formal documentation systems and methods, particularly ISO9001 and IATF16949

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life, and vision insurance, 401(k) with match and profit sharing, annual bonus based on division profitability, vacation, flexible paid holidays, wellness and Employee Assistance Programs, tuition reimbursement, and paid training.
