Job Overview

Lighthouse Professional Services is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Shelton, CT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to optimize quality and safety.
  • Evaluate existing processes to identify areas for improvement and reduce waste.
  • Design tools and equipment modifications to enhance ergonomics and safety.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives through process improvements and equipment upgrades.
  • Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to drive efficiency improvements.
  • Analyze production data to inform continuous improvement strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in CNC machining manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with ANSI Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Prior machining experience and knowledge of CAD-CAM systems beneficial.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO 9001 quality standards.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
