About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef 2 to join our team at Young Harris College. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all food service operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day food service operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food production forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with new culinary trends and innovations, applying this knowledge to improve our food service offerings.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in food service management, including leadership and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality food service.
