Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the State of Washington's Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). As a LPN in our Skilled Nursing Facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practical nursing services and care to clients with intellectual disabilities
  • Transcribe and carry out physicians' orders
  • Administer medications and treatment
  • Record health data in clients' charts/records
  • Document and report changes in the patient's condition
  • Oversee care and instruction to other members providing direct care
Requirements
  • A valid Washington State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • The ability to work with people who may display challenging behaviors
