About the Role

The Recruitment Operations Manager is responsible for leading the talent acquisition process to ensure the organization attracts and secures skilled professionals to fulfill current and future workforce requirements. This role entails the development and execution of recruitment strategies, oversight of the recruitment team, and the evaluation of recruitment performance for ongoing enhancement.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manages the entire recruitment lifecycle from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
  • Leads and mentors the recruitment team.
  • Creates, updates, and regularly assesses departmental standard operating procedures and overall recruitment strategy to align with organizational needs.
  • Stays informed on the latest trends in recruitment and investigates innovative sourcing techniques, technologies, and tools to attract top-tier talent.
  • Designs effective interviewing methodologies including screening interviews, behavioral interviews, and evaluation processes.
  • Guides hiring managers on established interviewing practices.
  • Collaborates with department heads to anticipate future hiring requirements.
  • Employs a variety of sourcing strategies tailored to specific roles.
  • Partners with Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations to promote job opportunities.
  • Builds professional networks and community partnerships with HR professionals, educational institutions, and local organizations.
  • Participates in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Engages in job fairs and career events.
  • Maintains recruitment analytics and metrics including sourcing channels, time-to-fill, candidate quality, etc., to assess recruitment success.
  • Ensures compliance with policies, employment laws, and state regulations.
  • Promotes a workplace culture that enhances the company's reputation and attracts high-caliber employees.
  • Develops strong relationships with business leaders, acting as a trusted partner who understands organizational needs and aligns talent to achieve business objectives.

  • Capable of sitting and working at a computer for extended periods.
  • Able to stand at a copier workstation and proficiently use a computer keyboard.
  • Must be able to twist and bend while standing and sitting to access files at a desk and in file cabinets.
  • Demonstrates manual dexterity for data entry and the ability to view computer monitors for long durations.
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
  • May encounter casino-related environmental factors including secondhand smoke, noise, and stress associated with customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Familiarity with local professional networks, community organizations, and HR professionals.
  • 3-5 years of experience in high-volume recruitment, preferably within the casino or hospitality sector.
  • Willingness to travel to industry events, job fairs, and conferences.
  • Prior experience conducting high-volume interviews and utilizing candidate screening and evaluation methods is essential.
  • Proficient in using social media as a recruitment tool and familiar with other professional recruiting networks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
