Position: Finance Supervisor - Non-Profit Sector

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a prominent global non-profit organization to recruit a Finance Supervisor on a temporary-to-permanent basis. We are seeking a candidate with substantial experience in managing municipal, state, and federal grants. This position is initially temporary, with the potential for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and overseeing program budgets, including forecasting, expense monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Managing all expenditures within the assigned program portfolio; approving or rejecting purchases and making necessary budget adjustments.
  • Conducting regular reviews of grant agreements to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Providing oversight and support during the grant billing process to guarantee timely reimbursements.
  • Monitoring program expenses to ensure adherence to compliance standards, prevent budget overruns, and achieve the organization's financial objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the non-profit sector.
  • At least one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Practical experience with federal, state, and local funding sources.

Work Schedule:

  • Three days in the office and two days remote.
  • Standard hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, totaling a 35-hour work week, with occasional overtime required.

Compensation: $37.00 to $40.00 per hour
