Marketing and Business Development Manager

The Brattle Group, a global economics consulting firm, seeks a Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our Boston, Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC office. This role will contribute to increasing market visibility and driving business growth within the Securities & Finance practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies at the individual, practice, and management group level.
  • Coach and catalyze next-generation consulting leaders, helping to scope business development plans and ensure implementation.
  • Work as a strategic advisor to Corporate Services colleagues, connecting regional teams with broader Marketing support.
  • Conduct client and competitor research to support new and changing market opportunities.
  • Facilitate the development, publication, and promotion of thought leadership and collateral.
  • Attend local networking events to elevate the Brattle brand and connect potential clients with Brattle consultants.
  • Develop digital initiatives to support practices' go-to-market strategies.
  • Research, recommend, and facilitate memberships, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and advertising opportunities.
  • Serve as a liaison between consultants and the Marketing team, ensuring projects stay on task.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications.
  • 8+ years' marketing experience, preferably in economic consulting, the legal industry, or professional services firms.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship, pipeline, and experience management databases.
  • Ability to exercise excellent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle multiple and shifting tasks with an eye towards strategic planning and tactical implementation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team as needed.
  • Takes pride in working within a high-quality, high-integrity organization.
  • Travel will be required.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.

Brattle offers a competitive benefits package, base salary, and bonus program for eligible roles based on individual and firm performance. The anticipated base gross salary range for this position in New York, NY is $116,000 - $151,000 annually. Actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including experience and training.
