Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary function of this role is to assist clients with the financial transactions of the bank, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues to enhance customer loyalty and attract new clientele.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transaction Management

  • Records and processes customer transactions, ensuring accurate receipt issuance.
  • Balances daily financial activities and reports any inconsistencies to the Head Teller.
  • Handles checks and cash transactions according to established protocols.
  • Orders and manages the bank's cash supply, including counting incoming funds.
  • Implements holds on accounts, processes change requests, and accepts loan repayments.
  • Oversees automated teller machines and night deposit operations.
  • Balances cash drawer at the end of each shift, reporting discrepancies as necessary.

Client Engagement

  • Promotes and educates clients about the bank's offerings and services.
  • Responds to client inquiries effectively.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is situated in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and other necessary tools.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands of this role include regular communication, standing, walking, and the ability to handle and count currency.

POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time role, with a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
