Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary role of this position is to assist clients with the financial transactions of the bank, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues to enhance customer loyalty and attract new clientele.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transaction Management

  • Records client transactions and provides receipts
  • Balances daily financial activities and reports any discrepancies to the Head Teller
  • Processes checks and cash in accordance with established protocols
  • Orders cash supply for the bank and counts incoming funds
  • Implements holds on accounts, processes change orders, and accepts loan repayments
  • Manages automated teller machines and night deposit services
  • Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift, reporting any inconsistencies to the Head Teller
