Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and provide counseling to patients on their medication needs.
- Lead by Example: Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches, including techniques to resolve concerns and improve patient satisfaction.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Utilize tools, data, and personal conversations to understand community health concerns and stay current on emerging health issues.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate records, adhere to regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- License: Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Training: Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
