Job Overview

Pilot Freight Services is looking for a dedicated Customer Service professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support management with daily operational tasks, including:
    • Assisting in the allocation of routes and ensuring compliance with contractor uniform standards.
    • Monitoring truck delays and facilitating communication with stores and clients.
    • Ensuring pre-call tasks are completed and procedures are adhered to.
    • Reviewing the billing process to confirm all documentation is processed accurately.
  • Manage incoming calls effectively, which includes:
    • Utilizing a clear and professional tone when speaking.
    • Directing calls to the correct personnel using available communication tools.
    • Providing clients with timely updates regarding their deliveries based on system information.
    • Conducting pre-calls to inform customers of their delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate in-home deliveries by:
    • Gathering necessary information from customers.
    • Obtaining directions to customer residences.
    • Inputting relevant data into the system.
    • Explaining the delivery scheduling policies to customers.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Attendance and punctuality are crucial for this role.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: Candidates must be fully vaccinated.
