Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Research and resolve account activity issues, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Process transactions, including waivers, charges, and credits, to student accounts
  • Prepare reconciliations and departmental reports using various software systems
  • Review and resolve accounts, including tuition, billing, and collection matters
  • Develop and create correspondence in response to student account inquiries
  • Answer high-volume phone calls, respond to email inquiries, and assist with in-person customers
  • Update departmental procedures related to assigned accounting functions
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a closely related field
  • Two years of previous customer service and accounts receivable/payable/cashiering experience
  • Equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in working in a high-volume customer service environment
  • Experience in accounts receivable environments
  • Experience in reconciling accounts
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience in preparing reports
  • Evidence of effective communication skills
  • Experience in using attention to detail skills
