Coding Auditor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Coding Auditor to join our team at Insight Global. As a Coding Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing and educating our coders on coding compliance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and educate coders on coding compliance policies and procedures
  • Ensure accurate and compliant coding practices
  • Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience auditing profee coders
  • 5 years of Profee Coding experience
  • Experience with at least 2 of the following specialties: Urology, Bariatrics, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN, or Pediatrics
  • Strong experience with E/M leveling
  • CPC or COC Coding Certification from AAPC
  • Knowledge of coding compliance policies, official coding guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures affecting the coding process
  • Must reside in one of the following states: TX, OK, LA, TN, FL, SC, GA, or NE
