We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Consultant, Health and Safety to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative health and safety programs and strategies to help our clients address their safety challenges.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety programs and strategies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and coaching to clients on health and safety best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement safety management systems and process safety management plans.
- Conduct industrial hygiene assessments and provide technical support to clients.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as safety, occupational health, chemistry, or engineering.
- At least 6 years of experience in health and safety, with a focus on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) issues.
- Experience managing direct reports and/or project staff, with a focus on scoping and managing project budgets and expenses.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the SF Bay Area and occasionally outside of the area.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
