Job Title: Managing Consultant, Health and Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Consultant, Health and Safety to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative health and safety programs and strategies to help our clients address their environmental, health, and safety challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs and strategies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions to address them.
  • Provide training and coaching to clients on health and safety best practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective safety management systems.
  • Participate in project teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as safety, occupational health, chemistry, engineering, or a related science.
  • At least 6 years of experience in health and safety, with a focus on environmental, health, and safety issues.
  • Experience managing direct reports and/or project staff, scoping and managing project budgets and expenses.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the SF Bay Area and occasionally outside of the area.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of California regulations and local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
