Job Summary

Community Academy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the office of Administration. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, and excel at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Take detailed minutes during meetings and maintain accurate records
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, creating folders, and shredding documents
  • Assist with daily operations of the school store, including inventory management, product organization, online order fulfillment, and cash register operations
  • Receive shipments and coordinate internal order pickups
  • Support general administrative and clerical assignments, including filing, shredding, and alphabetizing documents
  • Assist with new hire paperwork and training setup
  • Communication:
  • Interact professionally with students, parents, personnel, and contractors/vendors
  • Process, receive, and distribute order requests efficiently

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience in general office support
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
