Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Athletics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations and Analytics Coordinator - Football to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting the football program's daily operations and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with coaches, student-athletes, department personnel, university staff, and external units.
  • Represent the football program within the department, Atlantic Coast Conference, and National Collegiate Athletic Association.
  • Assist the Director of Football Operations and Chief of Staff in overseeing the football program's daily operations.

Requirements
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Division I experience in football as a student-athlete, staff member, or former coach.
  • Familiarity with a collegiate football coaching atmosphere, including terminology.
  • Working knowledge of NCAA rules as they pertain to football team travel, official and unofficial recruiting visits, and recruiting of football student-athletes.
  • Commitment to diversity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Division I Power 4 collegiate athletics football program.
  • Working knowledge of ARMS or similar recruiting software.
  • Bachelor's degree with related experience in athletics administration.
